And now for something completely different
After being asked numerous times about how I make my videos, I decided to I may just produce a video course. If I do, would you be interested in it?

Summary
For my 400th video, I’m asking if you’d be interested in a course about making videos. I used to say I’d never do a course because strategy work needs one-on-one, but people keep asking me about equipment, setup, and presenting naturally. Fill out the form below if you’re interested.

Those who know me know how I work. Those who don’t know me don’t quite understand what I do and how I do things. But that’s okay because that’s why I make a ton of videos. Now this video, this very video that you’re watching is number 400.
I’ve made 400 freaking videos. I’ve actually made more, but 400 that have been published on my YouTube and on my website. And making those videos made me realise something. I want to share that with you.
So for years, for the past handful of years, I’ve always said I would never do a course. I did do a course, like a base camp basics course. But my issue with that was that I didn’t really market it. So I gave it out for free. It wasn’t, it was kind of the basics. And it’s actually a good few videos. If you search for it on my YouTube, you’ll find it. But I’ve always said that making a course was never good for what I did.
I’m a strategist, so finding a strategy for a client means you have to work for that client. Creating a course about strategies very difficult because you’re not talking to one person. I’m not talking to you. I’m talking to many. So creating a course for many about the strategy, it’s strategy. G’s of Tech Minimalism and how you could use it is not easy. Well, it’s easy, but it’s not good. It is actually easy, but it’s not good in the sense that you will never really learn what you really need to learn unless you work one-on-one. That’s why I only do one-on-one.
But throughout these videos that I’ve made, I get asked so many questions about how do you make your videos? How do you colour grade it? That’s advanced stuff. How do you shoot it? What camera do you use? What equipment should I get? What mic should I have? How should I frame it? What lights do you have? How do you look so natural? I hope I do. But people actually ask me that.
So tying that with something that I said I would never do, i.e. create a course. I’m wondering if it’s worth me creating a course. about videos. Now, as I said, I’ve made 400 videos, so I know how to make these videos, and this comes natural to me. And I’ve always said that making videos should be really natural, it should be set up, et cetera. But from this video, for instance, it’s probably taken me 35 minutes, from idea to video to actually being posted. It doesn’t take that long, and many ask how.
So I’m wondering if I should. create that course. So for my 400th video doing something completely different, I’m actually asking you if you would be interested in it. So effectively, this is an advert sponsored by me. Would you be interested in a course about videos? It doesn’t have to be black or white. This is my branding. This is what I do, right? So it’s not about that.
It’s what equipment to get, how you should set up, how your computer is set up, how you should, um, how your presence should be going along with you. Yeah, you basically. What lights to have, what background you should have, and so on and so forth.
So what I’ve done is created a form. It’s a tally form. I’ll put a link below. If you’re interested, just fill out that form. The form isn’t going anywhere. It’s just collecting emails and messages to me directly. So I know that you would be interested. I’ll put that into a numbers sheet. Excel sheet for people who don’t use numbers, just to have, so I can email you directly to see that it will be available.
Geez, got to get these words out. See, making mistakes like that, I think, is natural and they should be left in. A lot of people would cut that out. Why cut it out? So I want to teach these things as well, how you present yourself.
Anyway, there’ll be a form, fill it out, let me know. and hopefully I will finally make a course on something completely different to Tech Minimalism, kind of. Anyway, have a great day. Looking forward to hearing from you. Don’t forget the form. Ciao, bye.
