Building the foundation for the upper floor of the barn

First we had to cut the steal square tubing for platform to size so the H-Beam going across to the other side of the ban can rest on.

We then created a sandwich between two sink plated steel beams on both sides of the barn to hold the platform we cut earlier this morning. 

After drilling holes through both the sink steel and the steel platforms, we put it all together with high tensile bolts, and a small think wooden spacer.

This thing is strong as hell!

We’ll work on the H-Beams this coming week. And I’ sure it’ll be just as strong as, or even stronger than, this when it’s finished.
