Summary

Don’t wait to create, just press record and start making videos or podcasts. Even if you don’t post it, you’re learning your workflow and how you work, and waiting only makes you overthink. It doesn’t have to be perfect, especially when you’re starting.

You should never fear creating something, whether it’s a podcast, a video. If you’re in business, you kind of need to get the word out there. And obviously advertising, creating a Facebook page, whatever. That’s all well and good. But you have to put things on there. You have to put content on there. And as business owners, it’s up to us to get the word out there about what we do and the way we do things, our personality also. And the only way to do that is to just create. Never wait to create. You should just basically start recording.

Now, a lot of people don’t know how to do that, and that’s fine. Obviously, I don’t know how to fly a plane. I wish I did. But you can learn those things. There’s YouTube videos. There’s courses. There are consultants, etc. You can learn from. But even before going that far, even before hiring someone, I think it’s always best to know, have a rough idea of what you’re doing. So effectively, just pressing record.

So when it comes to making videos or making podcast and stuff, the best thing to do is just get your camera, it doesn’t matter what it is, and press record. Because if you wait to create, you’re going to keep thinking to yourself that you can’t do it, and the longer you wait, the worse it is, because you’ll overthink things, and then you’ll get nothing done. Excuse me, cool. You’ll get nothing done.

And it doesn’t matter how you do it. Even if you don’t post it, you’re kind of posting it for yourself. You’re kind of learning the technology, learning how you work, your workflow. And then if you do need help, go to YouTube videos, go and find someone that can do it for you. Get someone that can help you with it.

Sorry, Woof! is killing a tree behind me here. Can you see her? I don’t know if you can see him. So you might hear that noise. So it doesn’t have to be perfect, especially when you’re starting. And just don’t wait, create. That’s all I can say to you today. I’m going to go and play with Woof!. See you later. Watch out.
