Summary

The real annoyance is people bitching about why pay for the Twitter blue checks. If a service helps your business, pay for it. Free tiers can go away, that’s business 101, and the market will decide. Stop being narcissistic assholes about it.

Raw

I’m sick as hell today in more ways than one. I’ve actually had the flu for the past two weeks. So I left, I’ve been nomading for the past two weeks, as you know. And pretty much right after I moved in, I got the flu and I stayed with my daughter for a while. Now they’re sick. It’s been an absolute mess. But I’m still enjoying being out. It’s just annoying.

But today is a day that I’m annoyed, not because I’m sick, but it’s a Twitter day effectively. And people are bitching and moaning about their blue check marks and it drives me fucking insane.

If you, forget Twitter, it’s not a Twitter thing per se. If you use a service, fucking pay for it. Just simple as that. I mean, if you use a CRM, there are free versions of the CRM. If there are, Asana has a free version, Basecamp has a free version. I get it. Use the free version. But if the company decides it’s no longer viable to keep those free tiers, they are within their rights to take that free tier away. It’s just the way it is.

More often than not, the free app isn’t as good. as the paid app. It’s obvious. It’s business 101 for fuck’s sake. It just boggles my mind where these cunts come from where they think, oh, because it’s free, it should always be free.

So the whole Twitter thing, listen, I don’t crawl up Elon Musk’s ass and fucking kiss him on the lips or anything, but he’s trying to make something better the way he thinks, um, he’s. he should do it. It’s his fucking business. Let him do what he needs to. The market will decide. No, I’m not a fucking conservative, but the market generally decides. If you make a product, you’re a coach or a consultant, you’ll make a product and it’s shit. No one’s buying it. So you then redo it. It’s just the way it is.

It just drives me insane, bat shit crazy, where these assholes have got their blue check marks. and think that they should have it forever. It’s like, no, dude, someone just came in, thought that they’re losing money, they’ve got to do something else. You have to pay for it. It’s just the way it is.

If you need a service for your business to run better, nicer, quicker, if it’s going to help your business in any way, pay for the service. Pipe drive, great product. I don’t use it. It’s a great product. There’s a free version, I think, or did they remove it? I haven’t used it for such a long time. But they have different tiers. If you want a better tier, you pay for it. Asana is the same. Base cam, not quite the same, but kind of the same. Todoist is the same. There’s a free version and there’s a paid version. If you need the services, pay for it. And more often than not, you get better support.

It just boggles my mind where these fucking narcissists are just coming out of the woodwork. saying I’m not going to pay blah blah blah it’s eight fucking bucks a month you can’t you’re a millionaire you’ve made millions out of using these services but refuse to pay for for what for the fact that you think you’re better unbelievable it’s unbelievable yeah I’m crossing my arms read what you’re want into that. It’s crazy.

If there is a service that you need that’s going to help your business, you pay for it. It’s just clear as day. That’s as simple as that. I’ll be tweeting all day and actually commenting on people who are being complete morons. I’ve already done a couple. So follow me on Twitter.
