You know, I talk about getting the right tool for the right job all the time. If you don’t know the process, you don’t know what tool to get. If you get the wrong tool, you’re basically chasing your towel, and you’re just not going to get anywhere.
And I’m going to tell you a little story because it happened to me recently. As you know, I’m building my Chevy Blazer at the moment. I’m working on the engine right now. I have been for quite a while, actually.
What happened to me was I couldn’t get the car started and I couldn’t figure out why. I went onto the forum and someone mentioned, get yourself a Noid Set. I had no idea what a noid set was. Well, I got myself a Noid set. I’ll explain what it is. A noid set is a specific tool. So loud. It’s a specific tool. You don’t need all of them. They’re all for different cars. This one is my one. And it diagnoses, this little thing, diagnoses the injectors so you know whether the injectors were working or not because it wasn’t starting I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t getting fuel so I got the right tool and it saved me so much time to try to figure out trying to figure out what why it wasn’t starting I mean I already spent days trying to figure it out but as soon as I got this I effectively knew exactly what it was then I rebuilt the thing with the new parts that I needed. This told me.
So if it wasn’t for that one lone person telling me to get this, I would be completely lost. And this is what I see in the tech world as well. People chase their tails, as I said, like a headless chicken, because they don’t know their process. And once you have the process, and then you can get the right tool.
The process for me was someone told me. me get this and then I use the right tool to try to get it to get it working and everything is fine. So I’m going to sound like an infomercial. So get your business a noid set equivalent for your business.
Don’t just keep getting tools, trying tools because of the shiny object syndrome. Get yourself the noid set that you need in your business. And then you can save yourself time, headache, hours. I mean, it was crazy. just like me.
