Here’s a solid email system for you
Having a solid email system with amazing support, just in case, for your business is paramount in today’s world. So here’s how I’ve set up mine.

Paul asked about moving away from Google Workspace, and I only recommend what I use. Fastmail for the backend, Hey for the frontend, because Hey can’t import archives and Fastmail handles multiple domains. iCloud has limitations with domains and aliases, but Fastmail and Hey just work with great support. I love email. I love sending email. I love receiving email. I like the format. I like the technology. It’s simple and it’s just, it just works. I have to worry about other platforms not working.
So when I received the message from Paul saying, I’m looking into moving away from Google workspace, he asked me about what systems he should move to.
Now, I only recommend what I use and what I’ve used in the past. And what I’m used, right now is Fastmail for my back end and HEY for HEY for work and HEY for personal, HEY for personal is what I use, HEY for work you have to pay per domain and then it’s a different account.

But yeah I wouldn’t use I cloud because there are limitations and I did have issues sending and receiving, but there again, you know, this was like eight months ago.
With, HEY, fantastic support, Basecamp, 37 signals, it just works. Fastmail, again, I’ve never actually had an issue. I’ve had questions, and they answer within a couple of hours. So support for me for both of those products are great.
Because again, I love email and I use email constantly. So I want, if something goes wrong, if something goes wrong, I need to be able to speak to someone. And those two, HEY, and Fastmail, they just work. It’s like an Apple thing. They just work. And if you have problems, you know, you can contact them.
