Being able to take notes wherever you are is really important. It’s really important to me. And I completely forgot what I was going to make this video about. So I’m turning that into a video.

I was taking a shower. Every day I take a shower and I take my phone in there with me. And I had two amazing thoughts for the video I was going to make today. But the older I get, the more I forget. So having that phone and being able to Siri notes is so invaluable to me.

So effectively I can take notes everywhere. And you know this. We all have these shower thoughts and these ideas. And most of my ideas come about when I’m either walking my dog, or actually being in the shower in the morning. And today I had two amazing ideas, and I completely forgot them because I didn’t write them down.

So having notes, having the ability to take notes, whether it’s on your Mac, on your phone, is really important. The tools you use are a different thing, but the fact that you can, the fact that you should be able to do them easily and simply, there is an app called Drafts, which is actually a really good Mac app as well. but a great iPhone app where you can just literally input anything.

For years, I used to use my task manager and just put stuff in the inbox. They still kind of do that. But to be honest, lately, in the past year or so, I’ve been using Apple Notes for all my note-taking. And being able to use Siri to take those notes really, I mean, it just makes a world of difference.

And today I’m kicking myself because I’m, I still cannot remember those two ideas that I had, and I’ve been thinking about it all morning. I can’t remember what they were.

So I thought, you know what? Great video topic. Be able to take notes wherever you are, whether it’s pen and paper or an app. So you don’t forget those ideas.

I heard a phrase recently called Goldfish Generation, and it’s just, it makes sense. People nowadays completely forget how to use analog stuff, how to do things without technology. In the olden days, it used to have a paper map. Now, I can’t. I’m pretty good at it. But generally, you can’t get anywhere without having, you know, Apple Maps or Google Maps or whatever you use.

Anyway, back to the original thing. Take notes. Be able to take notes wherever you are because just like me, you’re going to forget. get things the older you get.
