It’s always hard in the beginning
Nothing you do will ever be easy or simple, especially if you’re new to what you’re trying to solve. However, once you dig in and start implementing it, you’ll find that all that hard work was oh so worth it!

I’ve been hit the sack really late trying to simplify my website and email. And it reminded me that simplicity is hard work. However, once that hard work is done, it becomes simple. Don’t avoid fixing your system because you think it will take too long, it’s actually easy to fix, only difficult to start.

Over these past few days, I’ve been working on something and I’ve been sleeping really late, like 2 o’clock, 3 o’clock, 4 o’clock, 5.30. And it’s kind of playing a toll on me and you probably see that I’m a little bit tired today. The reason I was doing it is because I’m working on something because I want to simplify my website and the way I send out emails and stuff.
But it got me thinking that when you try to simplify something, you have to work really, really hard at it to get that system together before you can actually enjoy that simplicity.
Simplicity isn’t easy. I’ve said this before, said it many times. Simplicity is hard at the beginning. It’s simple afterwards because you’ve done all the hard work.
So depending on what you want to simplify, it can take a long time headaches, heart aches, even annoyances, anger. It brings out all these emotions. But once that part of it is done, again, depending on what you’re doing, it doesn’t usually take too long.
But I’ve been going through it for like three or four days already, and I’ve got a few more days to do it. But I know that once I’ve gone through those processes, through that anger and tiredness and so on, I’m going to come out the other end going, I’m just so happy that I’ve done it because now everything is simplified.
So don’t think about your, don’t think that your system, how can I put it? Your system’s probably crap. You want to fix it. You don’t want to fix it because you think it’s going to take so long to fix. No, it’s actually easy to fix. It’s just difficult, it’s the time length isn’t that. hard but it will be difficult at the beginning. They came out wrong and that’s not a good ad for what I do. But I think you understand what I mean. It’s hard at the beginning but once it’s done it’s really simple afterwards.
