Letting go is hard
It’s always nice to keep an old t-shirt or even an old bag, but to keep software or hardware you use o a daily basis just because you’ve used it for years isn’t always a good idea.

Summary
My old t-shirt with holes is comfortable. It’s like keeping outdated tech just because you’ve had it for years. Even if something works on the inside, it might not help you get work done on the outside. Look through your system and get rid of the tatty stuff that doesn’t serve you. I’m off to enjoy the sun and find Woof!.
Raw
So Woof! wants to be in this video.
I’ve got this old t-shirt, it’s got holes in it. I don’t even know where I got it from. It doesn’t fit well, it doesn’t look good, but it fits good for me, it fits well for me.
And it got me thinking about, actually got me thinking about technology and how we use technology, we don’t know where we got it from. It kind of works and it does. doesn’t work. But we think, well, we’ve had it for years, so we may as well use it. It’s just like me with this t-shirt.
But we know we have to get rid of it. We know that there’s a better way of doing things. But we keep the old stuff and we use it even though we know it’s crap and we should get rid of it.
You’ve got to look through your system to figure out the best things to keep and the things to actually just get rid of. Even though it’s tatty and you’re comfortable with it. like me and my t-shirt. It doesn’t mean it’s good or it works. It may work on the inside, on the outside actually getting work done. It just doesn’t work, so you may as well just get rid of it.
Woof! has disappeared, hopefully he hasn’t gone down the cliff somewhere.
There’s a little shack over there. It’s pretty cool. I’d love to live in that shack. Nice and simple.
Anyway, have a great day. I’m going to go and enjoy the sun, find Woof!, and I’ll see you in the next one. Ciao.
