New wheel studs for the Chevy Impala

The work is easy until you hit a snag. You see, we needed to fix the squeaking brakes but we found the wheel studs were fucked.

All of them!

So after measuring the old studs and unable to find the same exact ones. He restored to replacing all the studs at the front end with bigger ½ inch ones.

What a faff!

We had to machine part of the new studs off, grind the knurl a little, grease them up, then install them by breaking other parts.

AAGGHHH!!

But today we finished it all off, but… the fucking breaks are still squeaking!

We’ll work on it more on Thursday when we have a little more time.
