I hate when things don’t work. So I make sure everything is running smoothly because if my computer or phone dies, I need a way to carry on working. Keep your machines oiled like a bike or car, then you can help clients without calling an expert to fix things first.

We all have pet hates. I have many pet hates. Are they pet hates if there’s a lot of them? I don’t know.

One of the pet hates is people not doing their work properly. And that equally applies to things not working properly. I hate it when things just don’t work. It just annoys me. It grinds my gears and I go crazy because it should be working, right?

Well, no, we know this. Things just break. Things just stop working. But it doesn’t mean that you don’t get annoyed. with it and I’m sure you’ve got annoyed with many things in your household, in your business. It just doesn’t work and you just go irate. Well, is that a pay? I don’t know. It is for me.

So I make sure that things are always working. If something, me personally, if something isn’t working, I need to understand why it’s not working. I go in depth into it. So if my car doesn’t start, I need to know why. It’s just a thing for me.

You don’t need to know everything because there are people out there. You know, there’s a mechanic that can come out. But me personally, I’d like to know. But you can always call a mechanic. You can always call an expert to come in and help you out. So making sure that your things are running smoothly, you don’t have to call that guy out, right?

So I make sure that my business is always running. We all use computers. If your computer stopped working, what would you do? Do you have a spare? Could you carry on working in any other way? Could you carry on working on your phone, for instance? If your phone died, could you keep on making phone calls via your computer?

There are so many kind of parts to it, basically, when things are not working. You’ve got to make sure that you can carry on working. So having your machines oiled, just like your bike, just like your car, is paramount because if it doesn’t work, then you don’t work. You can’t help your clients when things don’t work. So it’s always good to make sure that your computer, the things that you need in your business are always working. It’s kind of simple, really, if you think about it.
