Some like the complexity
Over the years, I’ve found that many like to complicate their existence for the sole purpose of looking good from the outside. Let me tell you now that ‘busyness’ is not a great way to live your life.

Summary
I’m in France, and yesterday’s video sparked a lot of feedback about why people make things complicated. I think it’s either because they don’t realise they’re doing it, or because they like the air of ‘busyness’, to seem important. You should enjoy what you’re doing, so treat work incidental to life, not the other way around.

Good morning.
I come to you from France. I would say as you can see, but this could be anywhere, but this is a beautiful place. I actually slept just over there. Woof! is down here. We’re pretty relaxed. It’s actually morning.
I wanted to get this video out, out of my head, basically, because yesterday’s video, parasitic complicators had so many people reply to me. I have a daily email list and I send my videos via email and had lots of people interested in that video and giving me their ideas of complications etc and what I wanted to talk about today which which is a topic that came up in the emails is why the complexity why do people like making things complicated.
My thought process is twofold. One, I think it’s more a case of that they don’t understand that they’re being, that they’re making things complicated. Okay, well, you can always learn. That’s what I’m here for in a way, with your tech anyway, not life, I’m not a life coach at all.
But the second thing is, I think it’s more to do with busyness. Not business, but busyness meaning people like like the air of like the air of busyness they like being busy because it they think it portrays that they’re important that they are busy actually doing stuff but all they’re doing is busying their life so what what they try to do is make things so over complicated this is this is my thought process because I have seen it as well but make things so over complicated that people from the outside see that they’re busy so they must hire them or must work with them or whatever it is.
It’s kind of the keep up with the Joneses, which is in English saying, like, you know, make sure that you have things that your neighbours can see. Well, fuck your neighbours. It should be about me, me, me. It shouldn’t be about anyone else. You should enjoy what you’re doing.
When it comes to your business and the tech and stuff, you should be able to get your work done without worrying about showing that you’re busy. Who gives a, like, why you’re busy. You shouldn’t be busy. You should be enjoying your life and working incidentally to your life, not the other way around.
So it’s really interesting having all that feedback yesterday. Got me thinking about a few things as well. So I might make another video about this. Anyway, I’m going to say goodbye from France.
