Something to think about
Below is my reply to John, one of my long time subscribers, about moving to another country and how to deal with how, what, where, when, why etc. It was so good, I just had to share it with you…
I saw something online a few days back, it was something like this…
‘The place you visit is always better than the play you live’
This is true in the sense that you always carry [whatever] baggage you have with you. So no matter where you are there’s always something to deal with.
That’s also true of the things you have to deal with in said country. You have to start ALL OVER AGAIN.
The former is a personal thing that only you can answer in time.
However, for the latter you gotta ask yourself…. it is worth it? Is the grass REALLY greener?
In a lot of cases, it probably won’t be.
Hence the fact I love ’living/traveling’ in my truck and just visiting all sorts of places. Heck, who knows. I may still be doing it in my 70s.
It’s already been 3 years!
The photo was taken looking west on the west side of Tabernas Desert, Spain on the AL-3407.
If you look carefully, you’ll see a snow caped mountain with what looks like an observatory, although I may be mistaken.
