We seem to relish complexity. We understand that it’s harmful to us and eats into the finite time we have. But we still pursue this elusive thing called complexity for some reason. Why is that?

Summary

We all hate complexity and red tape, so why do we keep adding it to our own lives? I’ve chased simplicity for years. My take is if something is complicated, it’s a waste of time. Simplifying gives you time to yourself, family, and even your dog. Stop overcomplicating the simple things and keep it all as simple as possible.

We all hate red tape. We all hate complexity. We all hate things taking so long. We all hate getting annoyed with the simplest of simple things to do.

So why don’t we stop the complexity in our own lives, in our own businesses, to make it a little easier? I’ve been on this simple tip for many, many years. Everything I do and everything I have, everything I try to, learn has to have that air of simplicity to it. If it’s complex in any way, I kind of push it aside, maybe I’ll go back to it, but I don’t pursue it because I just think it’s a waste of time. My time is more valuable than learning that one thing. That’s that person or that thing is why it’s so complicated. Does that make sense?

So why in our own lives don’t we make things simpler. Why are we over, excuse me, why are we over-complicating these things? I just don’t understand why everything has to be so complex.

We have to stop the complex, because otherwise we don’t have time for our own selves, for our own family, for our own dogs. If we simplify everything, we then have that time to do those things.

The ‘over-complication’ of the simple things just irritate me to no end. So as I say, keep it simple. And I’ll see you in the next one. Ciao.
