So here we are, the MacBook is so nice to work with and so reliable. However… once in a while you need to have certain things done to it.

Nothing serious but it requires a knowledgeable person, who knows what needs to be done instantly.‍And there he is: Kia. Mr MacJunky himself.‍

He is the person to talk to as he knows what he is doing. We are now using the services of Kia for about 5 years or so.‍

In fact from the very moment that we switched to Mac. These were the best two decisions in terms of office support ever. Kia and Mac or Mac and Kia, whatever comes first.

And the best of all is that thanks to Mac and Kia we have reduced IT maintenance costs by 70%.

You know that uncomfortable feeling when you have to leave your computer behind at a service centre?

And they promise you that you will get a quote for the repair within four working days? Four days???What’s a long time if you are self-employed and depend on your Mac?‍

Luckily I found MacJunky when I needed help after my MacBookPro crashed and I had lost all my data. MacJunky was available, fast and professional and managed to retrieve 95% of my data within 24 hours of contacting them. I was then provided with good advice on how to set up a decent backup system.‍

After having spilt wine on my MacBook I was worried that it was dead forever. I searched on some sites where they gave some advice, but nothing seemed to work and I got more worried.‍

Ik zwaar in paniek, want ik moest nog een hoop foto’s uploaden voor tv commercials en de deadlines kwamen eraan en ik had al een tijdje geen back-up gedaan.‍

Ging ff Googlen en kwam op MacJunky uit, heb hem zaterdagavond gebeld en zondag mn Mac gebracht, woensdag had hij de data gered vd schijf. Ik sprong een gat in de lucht en heb een bos bloemen voor hem gekocht.‍

Tsjezus net op tijd anders had ik een hoop ellende gehad. De iMac is nog wel dead maar de data is gered en gelukkig valt ie nog in de garantie van een jaar.‍

It was great to have Kia here again to upgrade the memory of my old (but still good) Mac mini. Smoothly and fast it’s working again.‍

This guy is really incredible! Great knowledge, fast, professional, comfortable in dealing and friendly.

After my MacBook Pro had taken a few sips of coffee, it fell into a coma. Doctor Kia and his lovely, blonde assistant Woof! were available right away to see my MacBook.‍

Unfortunately, the diagnosis was pretty severe: A motherboard transplantation would be necessary. Doctor Kia advised me to consult the Apple Hospital for a better price than he could offer.‍

My MacBook is now in Apple care and we’re hoping for a speedy recovery.‍

So thanks to Doctor Kia, the diagnosis was made right away, and there were no charges.

In future, I will definitely consult Doctor Kia and his assistant again.

M’n Macbook was al tijden traag en liep steeds vaker vast, maar ik zag er erg tegenop om hem weg te brengen. Wist eigenlijk ook geen goed adresje.‍

I’ve tried two other repair shops to solve a huge problem with profiles and registers of my MacBook Pro before turning to MacJunky.‍

We kwamen vlak voor de kerstvakantie bij MacJunky met 600 Gig aan potentieel verloren data na een elektrische storing.‍

In het nieuwe jaar konden we gewoon weer aan de slag. Met alle data op een gloednieuwe harde schijf, en – zeker niet onbelangrijk – een paar geweldige tips rijker om de back-ups nog beter te organiseren!

Helaas geen successtory inclusief emotionele hereniging met mijn geliefde data (babyfoto’s).‍

Maar Kia’s zorgvuldige behandeling van de HD en zijn geduldige manier van werken gaven me wel het gevoel dat heel persoonlijke en gevoelige data in goede handen zijn bij deze vriendelijke Mac-veteraan.‍

Een heel belangrijk punt als het om data-recovery gaat (neem dat maar van me aan).
