People grab systems and courses off the shelf, but your system actually has to evolve from you. Courses are fine for basics, but after that you need someone to help you figure out your own workflow. That’s why I don’t do courses or lead magnets. Get the tools to do what you want, not what the software tells you.

I think we can all agree that we all work on our own rhythm. We all have our own specific ways of working rhythms, timings and so on. So why is it when it comes to your business, you’re so eager. People are so eager to grab something off the shelf.

Now, people like learning things, and I don’t think there’s a problem in learning anything. I think learning college, university, you learn the basics of what you need. But the system that you need to create for yourself actually evolves from you. It doesn’t evolve from anyone else externally. They can help, but it actually evolves from you.

That’s why I don’t do courses. That’s why I don’t like courses. I think courses, just like going to college, is great. You learn the basics. But when you come out of college or when you finish that course, you’ve actually got to do the work yourself. So who’s going to be around there to help you create that system for you? The course isn’t. The course is a system is a framework that that person has created for themselves, that they think that it might work for you.

But you probably won’t use that system or framework. Or in fact, if you do, and this is often the times when I work with my clients, they get this framework because it’s the best framework there is. They’ve spent hundreds, if not thousands, on this course to create, to get this framework. They get it. They use it for like, two or three months, and then they’re like, oh, I’ve wasted all my time and money because it just hasn’t worked. That’s why I don’t like doing courses, as I said.

So having frameworks is a good idea to get the basic frameworks. It’s in the name, the framework. But when it comes to creating the right workflows systems, for you, you actually need to sit down with someone and try to figure out how you work. And once you’ve figured that out, then you can. be happy with the system that you have because getting a system off the shelf just doesn’t work.

I mean, think about software. Let’s talk Photoshop. Photoshop has been around for years. Photoshop is such a powerful app. But I bet you the pros, in fact, I know some pros only use 10, 15, maximum 20% of what the actual app does.

Now, the app is great. It does everything you want. And this is another issue where people, think they have to use all the whole software to get their money’s worth. But that’s not often the case. You just get the software, get it to do what you want it to do, not get it to do what the software tells you to do.

That’s why I don’t create courses. That’s why I don’t have lead magnets, because I think another thing, lead magnets are just a waste of time and space because you get nothing from it.
