Your business needs to evolve
No matter how we run our business, there might be a time that we’ll need to evolve our business to stay in business. But if the tech you use isn’t in order, you will feel the hurt more than you can imagine. So make it easy for yourself.

Businesses have to evolve, and mine has taken about three years of chopping and changing. Having my tech organised meant I could pivot without too much pain. If your tech foundation isn’t sorted, evolving your business will be an absolute nightmare. I’m evolving again now with a new web host, and it’s easy because my tech is in order.

Whether we like it or not, businesses have to evolve to carry on working, carry on being in business. Your business has to evolve. Mine has evolved in the past two or three years. There’s been ups and downs trying to figure out and find the sweet spot. But that process takes a long time if you don’t know where you want to go.
Mine took about three years because I knew where I wanted to go, but there were pros and cons of, you know, chopping and changing, and it was a bit of a pain, and I think that’s the wrong thing to do. But the fact that my tech was in, was organised, I guess, was in such a state where me moving backwards and forwards didn’t really matter so much in the way I worked and what I did because I basically pivoted from one place to another.
But having your business evolve and not having that, foundation, this is a tech channel, so I’m going to talk about the tech side. If you don’t have your tech foundation organised and in the right way, in the way that you want to work, then doing that pivot and trying to evolve your business is going to be an absolute nightmare. I’m so glad that I had everything organised.
So when you want to evolve and want to pivot your business like I have, make sure your tech is in order. I’m right again evolving my business yet again as we speak. I’m actually trying to transfer to a new web host to give more features on my website. But again, my tech was in order for me to be able to make that transition. I’ll have more on more news about that in a few days actually.
So make sure your tech is in order because your business has to evolve and if your tech isn’t there then you’re going to be in some pain. Anyway, have a great day.
